Who’s with me?
So when I first found out I was pregnant, I was ecstatic, but honestly the thoughts that kept running through my head were “is the baby where its supposed to be?” “Something can be wrong with baby” “so many people have trouble with early pregnancies” so the only people I told was my husband, and my best friend. And I never talked to my husband about the fears I had because I didn’t want them to rub off on him. And the longer I was pregnant, I told a few more people. My parents and very close friends. But it scared me. Still; what if something happens? Won’t it be so embarrassing and so sad if this many people know what went wrong?!?!?
THE ANSWER IS NO. It won’t be embarrassing. It won’t be sad. EMBRACE your pregnancy from day one. Because guess what? You can spend your whole 9 months worried about the what if’s. Shoot! Even the many years you have after the baby is here. But what matters is the support system you have for the good AND bad. So no matter what happens, if people mean a lot to you, it doesn’t matter when you tell them! Because they should be able to help you get through the hard times and the happy ones. I’m so sick of the constant worry of what everyone thinks. If you think I told people too early, well too bad. If you think I didn’t tell the right people first, TOO BAD. It is my pregnancy and I’m going to be happy through it.
Rant over thanks ladies!
