Best Infant Car Seat?? 🤔

I’ve been trying to find a good infant car seat, but I can’t seem to choose between any. So far I’ve been aiming towards the Uppababy Mesa, & Nuna Pipa lite. But I would LOVE opinions and suggestions on any other car seats! Lmk why you love the car seat you chose

I've always used a Chicco keyfit 30.  My first one expired beefier i could use it for number 3, so I just got the Keyfit 30 Magic.  It comes with a muff and the canopy extends further plus it has mesh on the sides so there is more air flow.

I got the pipa and strolleria had a good basic comparison and then further research on safety led me to pipa. Getting an uppababy stroller though so I bought the adapter  thing which is A bummer but whatever

I narrowed down to the same 2 car seats. I am going with Mesa and uppababy vista stroller. I liked how simple it is to snap on Mesa to uppababy. I loved the lightness of Nuba pipa lite especially since I am petite and not super strong but bc the Mesa is so easy to snap onto base and into stroller it’s weight wasn’t an issue.

We have the Nuna Pipa and I love it!! I decided on that with my second because we loved the Nuna rava for my toddler. We didn’t get the lit though only because it has not been tested like the original pipa... I didn’t see a problem since it’s just like the pipa but lighter but my husband is a leo and so he’s big on safety ao it had to be tested etc for him to be comfortable with it.

The Pipa is amazing! The fact that it’s so lightweight and has so many great safety features is what sold us on it. We also loved using the Dream drape when we would take him out to dinner with us because it kept curious faces away from him and it provided enough coverage and shade so that he could sleep the whole time. Definitely the best car seat on the market.

We looked at both of those but decided on the cybex platinum cloud q. All those and oeg perego are really good but after talking with a bunch of different people in store, they all agreed the cybex was the best.

I think it depends on the stroller you get. I have the Mesa and I love it. It’s great with the vista stroller but the first car seat I had was a maxi cosi (same adaptor as the Nina so I would think they sit the same way on the stroller) and the car seat leans forward at an awkward angle (leans forward). Plus taking the adapter on and off is one extra step plus they are expensive ($50 in Canada) you would be better off just getting the Mesa. If you’re looking at a different stroller than it’s not as important
