When to start preparing?

I’ve already washed all newborn clothes and blankets and stuff but when should I start packing our hospital bags and making padsicles and stuff? I’m almost 34 weeks. My fiancé goes out of town for work next week when I’ll be 35 weeks and I want to be prepared for when he gets back since I’ll be around 38 weeks when he gets back. I’m already getting tired quickly but I don’t want to get things ready to early.
