When do you sunscreen your baby?

Question

Do you put it on your baby every single day all over their body, no matter how long or short they'll be outside? Or do you let them get a little sun (NO sunscreen) if they are only outside for 10 minutes in the middle of the day, or late in the day when the sun is not strong?
Let me know your routine! Of course this applies to babies over 6 months old.

I use sunscreen if I know we will be out for longer than 10/15 mins and sun is out. Like if I take my daughter swimming I make sure to put it on her arms and legs (I always put her in a big floppy sun hat when we go outside so I dont sunscreen her face/neck). 
But if we are just going outside for a few minutes i dont bother. And if we are running errands and going from car to stores and stuff i dont bother either.

It depends on the time of day and where we are. I also look up the UV index on my weather app and if it's high I will put some on both of us. Generally, if it's around 11am-2pm, in the sun, and/or a high UV index, I will use it. If it's a low UV, later in the day, or shady, I usually won't.

My LO has very fair skin like myself, I always put a dab on his face and exposed skin if we are playing outside. But if I'm walking from the car to the grocery store, I don't.

So far I haven’t used sunscreen at all for my 11mo. We stick to the shade or limit exposure.

Only if we go to the beach, park, baseball game, etc. that requires a lot of exposure to sun. ☀️

I don’t do it every time we go outside. If we are out in the morning I make sure that they have on their light long sleeves and hats on or we stick to the shade! In the evening I don’t worry about it. During the day if it will be more than 15min we sunblock up! 
We haven’t had a sunburn yet.
