Thinking of changing my 9 month olds schedule...would this be weird?

Okay so by the time my husband gets home from work, our son is already almost done his bath, then it’s story time, boob, and bed! While means they never get to see each other during the week. It also means my husband and I don’t eat dinner together, or we eat dinner very late.

I was thinking of switching his schedule around a bit, which allows them to spend a little time together and gives us some family bonding time. But I’m not sure if this schedule would be weird or throw our son off...

So our current schedule is:

Around 5:30-6:00pm is dinner, right after dinner is bath time, after bath time is book, boob, and then bed. He’s always sleeping by 7-7:30pm.

I was thinking of switching the schedule to this....

5pm - dinner

5:30 - bath and get dressed for bed (except sleep sack)

Go downstairs to spend time with daddy until around 6:30, then go upstairs put on sleep sack, read a story, milk, and sleeping by 7-7:30pm.

Do you think this would be okay? Do you think it’s weird to do bath and then go downstairs? Would it mess him up do you think? My
