Popping sensation while peeing?

Has anyone else had a popping sensation while peeing? I sat down to pee and started going. My bladder was super full since id been out and waited to get home to pee. So I'm peeing like a fire hydrant and about 1/4 the way through I felt this pop in my lower pelvis. Of course I was full blown peeing so I didn't notice any gush of fluid or anything. I put on a pad and im laying down now, I'll get up in about half an hour and see if anything "leaks" or if the pad gets wet. But I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone and if it wasn't their waters? And if it wasn't their waters, did you find out what it was? I'm 36 weeks and one day, also been nearly 2cm since 32 weeks with daily irregular Braxton Hicks that range in intensity but never hurt.
