Period post Clomid

I was on clomid in March & April, my cycle finally became regular and I ovulated normally- in May my dr told me to skip clomid to see if my body has bounced back- I ovulated (yay!) so I was just waiting to see if AF showed up before I took a pregnancy test. Well AF arrived a week early- well today (day 2) I am bleeding more than I ever have before... it is BAD- I am going through a super plus tampon every hour and the cramping is horrible- I have never had a cycle like this before— could this be a post clomid normal, or a miscarriage? How would I know?
