How much $ did you spend on newborn baby clothes?

Just newborn clothing? I got almost $80 worth of newborn outfits & sleepers (9 in total)for less than $35! Love sales & clearance!! Just curious how much you all spent.

We were given totes and totes of baby clothes, so we bought maybe 2 outfits. Our son just turned a year and we’ve still barely purchased him clothes. My SIL has all of her son’s clothes and gives them to us.

I don’t personally buy newborn for anyone because babies grow out of it so fast that it ends up being a waste in my eyes anyways. Plus, the babies in my family are usually big, so that timeline is even shorter!

I wished I had bought more! My son ended up being 5 lb 11 oz and I didn’t buy much newborn because people said I wouldn’t need it lol. He just now got out of newborn at 5 weeks old.

My daughter is a year and I haven’t spent very much at all but everyone close to me has had kids for awhile so I’ve been fortunate to get a ton of hand me downs. I’m also a thrifty frugal person so I’ve gotten stuff on sale and thrift stores :)

I’ve spent nothing because I won’t be buying newborn. I was an 8 lb baby and my husband was almost 10 lbs, so I’m pretty sure we won’t be needing any! And if we do, the baby won’t be in them long enough and Walmart is right down the street lol.

I myself so far have spent about $40 and I've got maybe 20-30 onesies, sleepers, a few beanies, and a pair of shoes....I've 15 more weeks to go so I've got plenty of time to stock up on more lol.
