Scariest day of my life!! **poss. trigger**

I went in today for a routine visit with my midwives at 15+5. Visit is going well til we pull out the Doppler. We both swear we could hear a heartbeat for just a couple seconds, but she was unable to find it again. She pulls out the ultrasound machine, can't find anything, pulls one of the other midwives in for a second opinion. I'm then told that she doesn't see a heartbeat and it looks like baby stopped growing 5 weeks ago. They send me to the hospital to have a more in depth u.s, fully expecting their findings to be the same. So I call my husband and tell him this heart wrenching news. He rushes to meet me, we get to the hospital crying and in shock the entire time, check in, get called back, etc. They get me on the table, start looking and there is our baby's little heart, 152 bpm. Everything looked great. They did say the placenta is sitting at the top/front of my uterus which could explain the difficulty in finding baby the first few times. But that hour and a half between ultrasounds was the scariest, hardest time I think I've ever experienced in my life. Praising God our baby is still ours to keep!
