Do you think it’s wrong for your boyfriend to still want to stay with his parents even though you two have your own place together?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years and I love him so much but he still wants to go stay at home with his parents. I just want to know if I’m crazy or not, like what’s the point of paying bills together and moving to with each other just for you to go and stay at home with your parents. I see my parents a couple times a week and call and text them but I don’t stay the night with them anymore. So do you think it’s wrong for him to just leave me home alone to go stay with his parents?

No, I don’t think it’s wrong. In all honesty, maybe he needs some space or is rethinking moving in with you, or maybe he’s just more comfortable there. Either way, he should be free to stay where he pleases, especially if he’s footing half the bill.

Like are you talking go home to see his parents for a weekend and stay a couple nights? Or are you talking stay a couple months or permantly move back in with them? If it's a couple weekend visits here and there that's fine, no nees to worry it's normal. If not then idk

It’s weird and yes I’d be mad. He’s not a roommate he’s your long term boyfriend. You agreed to move in together not to be alone all the time because he goes and sleeps at his parents house.

Does he go everyday or what? I’ve been with my husband 4 years and have a 2 year old and I come to sleep at my moms 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ not everyday. Just when she’s off work, she works for the school district so summer and holidays off.

I mean it depends . Is he staying the night often ? Everyday ? Does he just stay there and visit ? If he’s sleeping there more then at his own house yes that’s not ok . If it’s not then I would talk to him about it and see what’s the reason behind it .
