Want to try menstrual cup, worth the swap?

So I’m interested switching to a menstrual cup. I’ve been using nothing but pads since I started my period age 10. Now 21, I did some research and they sound great! I was completely convinced and took the putacupinit quiz which said to try lunette cup. The reason I’ve never tried tampons is through fear of TSS. Which I thought wasn’t possible with menstrual cups but upon doing more research I found out there has been a few cases. I’m trying not to let this put me off but I am terrified 😫 Should I still try it out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance 😊

All of the TSS cases associated with cups are because the users didn’t follow the rules of how long you can wear them and proper cleaning. As long as they’re used correctly, the risk is minuscule. I think they are 100% worth it. I’ll never go back to pads or tampons.

Don't wear a cup any longer than 12 hours and properly clean it and the chance of tss is practically 0. I've heard of women wearing their cup for days. That's dangerous! 
I love my cup. I started with a Lena and I couldn't get that one to work for me. Recently switched to a saalt and it's great. I use the saalt wash and clean my cup once a day during my period and after my period I boil my cup and store it in the cloth bag for my next period. I work out with it in and swim with it in. And save money every month. I almost forget I'm on my period with it in. Cups are awesome!

I just started using menstrual cups last month, and they’re great! I recommend them! It was a little tricky to figure out at first but after a day or 2 I got the hang of it. As long as you change the cup ever 12 hours you shouldn’t be concerned about tss. I used the diva cup last month, but I just bought the saalt cup and I’m so excited to use it!
