Should I get a perm?

I want to get a perm and my hair is SUPER healthy so I don’t think it will be too damaged but I’m not sure what type of perm

If you get one make sure you do lots of research first and make sure you find a good stylist who is experienced and knows how to do it well. A perm looks nice uf its done correctly but if its done wrong it will RUIN your hair. And i don't mean a little bit, i mean the kind of damage that would mean having to cut it all off.

I had virgin hair when I got a perm it wasn’t a good experience. It killed my perfectly healthy hair, smelled HORRID for days, and wasn’t what I was expecting it to look like at all. Maybe my hair was too heavy to hold the curls but most of it stayed straight. For reference I had hair past my butt on the thickish side and was in perfect Health

It doesn’t matter how healthy your hair is now because if someone does a bad job then your hair is damaged like crazzzy.

I suggest not. My best friend and I both got perms when we were like 14 (by different people) and it didn’t turn out how either of us wanted and RUINED our hair. It took like 3 years for our hair to get healthy again.

if you want to go for it i’ve had a body perm three times in the past 5 years and i loved it!

I love my spiral perm! I have really long hair and used to just throw it up in a pint tail. Wirh the pern I literally just dry it and leave it down, looks great.
