Sippy Cups??

What kinds are best?? Around what age did you start trying it with your babies. My daughter is almost 7 months and some are asking why she’s not using a sippy cup yet. I’m a first time mom and didn’t think it would be this soon

We started the Munchkin 360 right around 8mo with my first and he took right to it!! Now he is almost 2 and still uses them, but it good about regular cups in restaurants.
Takes the confusion about of a sippy spout later in toddlerhood.

My son drank out of a straw cup at 5-6 months. Munchkin 360 at 11 months

I give my little girl she’s 6months water in a 360cup with her solids as she EBF she not used to using a bottle.. Ive never used a sippy cup for breastmilk/formula till my boys was over a year old. I just introduce one at 6months with water when they needed the extra fluids with food. Might take you a few different cups to find the one that suits your baby. My youngest son and our daughter found the 360 cups easy to use and my oldest they wasn’t around when he was a baby so he a spout cup.

Around 6months when I introduced soilds I would just have water in it give him the bottle for milk but get him used to sippy cup during the day when he didnt have much milk but would still be thirsty

We tried introducing a few different ones, and around 11-12 months we found the right one. Its a contigo straw cup. Hes almost 2 and still loves then

My doctor didn’t start talking about sippy cups till my son was 1 years old. But it all depends on the child. Mine started sippy cups at 8 months just because the flow of a number 4 nipple wasn’t fast enough for him. We went thru 4 different brands and 6 different styles to fine the one he likes. He will be 18 months tomorrow and is using a 3 year old and up cup cause he doesn’t like any other ones. 
Just find what works. You can always buy one and they don’t like it just wait. My doctor said that my son should be off bottles completely by 18 months.

About 1yo- we use the “take and toss” sippy cups from Target. They come in a four pack and are really inexpensive which is nice compared to other cups. We reuse them.

We started giving our kids water in a shot glass around 8-9 months, I believe. They learned how to drink from a cup and we skipped sippy cups completely. We used a straw cup if we needed something non spill in the car or whatnot, but not until much older.
