If this is insensitive or offensive to anyone, I would like to apologize in advance as it's not mean to be. I want to know if anyone else believes there is a fine or if there is an inbetween for this term. Is it transphobic if you're respectful on the outside by using a person's preferred name/pronouns as well as being 100% open to friendships and dating, while on the inside not fully believing that transgender men are men and transgender women are women? I personally feel like there is an inbetween line somewhere but I would like other peoples' opinions. Please state any opinions informatively in a non-aggressive way. I mean no offense.

It’s transphobic, but it probably comes from a lack of education rather than hate/fear. I’ll suggest asking yourself what makes you a women? Is it because you have the a vagina or something else?  Also do some research and talk to the community. There has been some new research about the brains of transgender individuals. Possible research the intersex community, some people don’t know they are intersexual until they are adults, when they find out it doesn’t make them any less male or female.

i believe it is transphobic because on the inside you don’t accept them. Acceptance is acceptance, inside and out and not believing is transphobic (to me)

Hey thanks for being respectful about this topic. I totally get that it’s a hard thing to accept. It’s taken me a while and I’m still not perfect. I would however say that it is transphobic, and that there’s not an in between
