Does anyone else look at their baby and think they are 'ugly'?

I hate that I feel this way sometimes (hoping I am not the only one) but I look at my baby and think 'man you have our worst features all in one person'.
I am not saying I dont love my baby...  I do...  I absolutely adore him!  He has the best personality BUT I see all these other babies with round, chunky, bright eyed babies and am a little jealous.

I have never felt this way about my own, but perhaps other babies.  That said- i have seen some not too cute babies grow up to be the most adorable toddlers and children!  And vice versa :).  I am sure it will change.

My mom thought I was an ugly baby and was annoyed with people telling her I was cute. My mom is the most loving person i know and I always felt loved. Now she looks at me with tears in her eyes and tell me how beautiful I am and how proud she is of me. 
Don’t feel bad about it. As long as you love your baby thats whats important.

I think it’s normal and realistic. I am one that believes that not all babies are cute. Some just really have to grow into their features. As long as you love them that’s all that matters!!

I totally think it's normal to feel that way!  Sometimes mine looks bad in certain pictures but overall he's pretty adorable. They all have funny looking features, but they are also tiny humans that are still developing. Give it time! Make the judgement call when they're adults 🤣 until then they will constantly be changing their looks.

I think my baby is the most beautiful baby I’ve ever laid my eyes on but I definitely have moments or see pictures where I’m like omg he looks so weird or whatever... but I think even if my son was objectively “ugly” I might think that but i would still at the same tike think he’s the most beautiful thing bc he’s mine haha. Being a mom is weird and sometimes I think we have thoughts that are normal but we make ourselves feel terrible bc of the love we also feel at the same time
