Need help figuring this out

So I was taking taytulla birth control pills for 8days the day of my period of May 4th, and then I stopped taking it after a 8days or so. And I had sexual intercourse the following week and I believe the last week of May as well. I was suppose to start my period June 4th but it hasn’t happened yet, I was wondering if the birth control probably messed up my period even though I only took it for 8 days ? Or what? Because I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative and maybe is it to early to tell ? Idk
