Would you get pregnant knowing that you’d miss your siblings wedding and possibly have no one there for you??

So situation...
We are across the country from all family... 
My husband is leaving and we have one month to conceive...2 cycles at least...
If we get pregnant I will be either be 34 weeks or 30 weeks pregnant on my sisters wedding day in Hawaii.... 13 hours flight to Hawaii. 
I would be so so torn up about missing her wedding, but also having another kid is obviously important as well.. 
ALSO if I get pregnant and I’m due around her wedding date... if I go into labor and for some reason my husband is gone, I will not have any of my family with me since they’ll all be in Hawaii for her wedding.. I could possibly have no one. So what would I do with my toddler?! Maybe my in-laws but they work full time so 🤷🏼‍♀️
So would you get pregnant knowing that you’d miss your siblings wedding and possibly have no one there for you during labor/birth?

I mean, do you have a history of pre-term labor? It is pretty unlikely for most people to go into labor at that point. If I were only 30 or 34 weeks, I'd be taking my happy ass to Hawaii for a wedding. 🤷‍♀️

You can definitely still go to Hawaii at that point unless you're high risk,.  You still have 2 months left til your due date

You also have to remember it takes people longer then 2 tries to get pregnant I was very luck to be able to get pregant right away but it's usually doesn't work that away for most people I feel like if you dont take your chance you might beat yourself over it later on

How long is your husband gone for? Could you put off conceiving until he gets back?

I would and did try.  We had to decide if we wanted to put our family on hold or try on schedule in 2015.  We tried.  It ended up taking us a while to get pregnant, so I ended up being less into the pregnancy for the weddings than originally planned.
I have 5 siblings and they all got married within 3 years.  We decided to go ahead with our plans because my husband said, “What if we put it off and everyone else decides to get married in the next couple of years....it is now or never.”  He was right and we were kind of in a race with the clock as we were over 30.

Might as well try because there’s a chance you won’t even get pregnant. At 32 weeks I flew to Florida and did a baby moon for 4 days.

My brother in law missed our wedding to do the peace corps in Africa. I missed having him there. But he had to live his life. It really didn’t bother me that much. I certainly didn’t think that he should have planned around our event. Your sis will probably feel the same if you can’t make her wedding. But only that far along, it actually is more likely you’ll be fine to go and probably feel mostly ok too. Every pregnancy is different, but most women seem to be alright until the last month or so. Things turned for me around 37 or 38 weeks. Before that I was doing just fine and wouldn’t have had a problem with a long flight. The airline regulations have softened too, I hear. It’s not actually dangerous to fly unless you’re high risk, but they don’t want you going into labor on the plane. So at your estimated due date, you’d probably still be allowed on the plane too.
I think the other problem is the more important one. If things went wrong and you had to deliver that early, how would you feel not having support during labor? Especially a labor that’s early, so probably has complications.... You could find a sitter for your kid. But what about YOU? And none of us can answer that for you.

You can always try doesnt mean itll haopen soon but if you want to go to your sisters wedding then wait but it isnt 100 that youll concive right away

I am in almost the exact same boat. Our daughter is 6 months and we plan to have another and want them close in age. My brother is having his wedding in the Philippines in May. We decided to wait because I don't want to be super pregnant, traveling cross country, with a 1.5yr old lol.

I would say keep trying as you were and if it’s meant to be it will be. If you do get pregnant sure you’ll be bummed but once you have your baby you’ll be over joyed and have zero regrets. If you don’t get pregnant then you don’t miss it. You could also get pregnant 5 months from now and be early enough that you can still go. All signs point to just keep TTC lol.
