Two more weeks

So, my boyfriend and I are moving from our home in California, basically leaving behind everything we’ve ever known, to Oklahoma to live with one of our friends whose already out there getting everything ready for our arrival and one of our best friends who we invited last minute. I’m so beyond excited! Although, I could really do with out the stress tbh. My boyfriend and I took a trip to his home town in Sacramento for his brother’s going away party this weekend and I met the rest of his family. His brother kept asking him he landed someone so much smarter than him, I don’t think I’m smarter than him but they do. We decided that on our way home we’d stop so he could meet some of my family. So, we stopped and had breakfast with my grandma’s cousin, who is VERY excited for us, she actually gave us $400 towards out move, I thought I was going to cry. Once we were out of Sac we stopped in my home town, Merced, and while there he met my great aunt and uncle, their son and my baby cousin, he had already met my grandmas. We decided we wanted to spend some more time with my grandma, plus she was giving us free furniture for our move because we have like nothing. After leaving my grandma’s house I took him to my godmother’s house. God, I forgot how open she is sometimes, she supports our move but wants us to be cautious. I couldn’t have felt happier after that day! Now, we’re exactly two weeks from the move date and everything is down to the last tiny details like reserving the uhaul, reserving two pet friendly hotel rooms, getting everything settled with DMV and getting me emergency medi-cal because my mother canceled my insurance before I could pick up my meds, which I really need. I’m excited and nervous at the same time but so happy because I’ll finally have my baby back with me because she’s an ESA now and it doesn’t matter how big she is.
