I’m trying to decide if I like him or just like the interest he shows in me

His name is Liam

We’re 17

I didn’t become friends with Liam until this year! I always thought he was weird even tho I was good friends with his best friend. We hung out one day at a school event and clicked. We have been good friends ever since. A couple days after we became friends we did dirty 20qs he asked for nudes which I said fuck no to! Anyways everyone keeps hinting that we should date. And straight up saying we should. Liam is a player, he bounces from one girl to another when they break up. He’s a fuckboi undercover. I really have grown to like him and become good friends with him. I’ve hung out with him a couple of times, but a week ago we hung out one on one. He was very flirty. Hand on my leg, strocking my thigh with his thumb. The night before he says we should watch a scary no he even tho I hate them but he will protect me. We were not cuddling but close to it. In any other situation I know this guy would like me but, he has a thing with this girl Jessica, who is kind of in the same situation as me. On his phone he has his nickname for me and a love heart hers is just Jessica. When he hangs out with her he leaves me on read and only sends photos of her. We’ve been each other’s number one best friends on sc for two months.

He has never mentioned her name to be before

Any photos I send him he comments with cute or hot or gorgeous. He tells me after school that I looked cute that day

Liam and I are involved in an overseas school trip that leaves in a month, and there is a net running that says that Liam and I will date by the time Vietnam comes around. After we hung out one on one he ignored me at school didn’t go out of his way to talk to me or poke me in the ribs like he always does. Wouldn’t even say hey back. This boy I swear to god. I really just wanted to rant and get some advice from anyone who has been through this before!
