Off topic - breast reduction?

Kelsey

So I’ve always had large breasts since they started budding around 9th grade and I even went for a consultation around 18 where they determined that I would probably be a good candidate for a reduction but I never followed through with my insurance to see if they would cover it. At the time, I knew I would eventually want to have kids and didn’t want to affect my chances of being able to breastfeed. Now, at 32, with my second child on the way, I’d like to explore the option again once I’m done breastfeeding this one and have had a chance to lose some of the weight and reduce the size naturally. Do you all think this is a good time to bring it up to my obgyn? When I went to the plastic surgeon at 18, it was via a referral from my PCP, who I still see. I’m wondering if it’s worth establishing a history of all the complications that come with having larger breasts for when insurance eventually does need to evaluate.

Any input from someone who has had a reduction would be much appreciated!
