Cervix Check - Pain?

Question

On Saturday I got my cervix and water checked due to them thinking I might have been in labor. After checking they found out I was still closed and not dilated. However, since then I have been in so much vagina pain, it even hurts around my clit. 
Has anyone else experienced this? How can I solve my discomfort?

I was very sore. When I had my first cervix check at 36 weeks as soon as I stood up to put my pants on I started gushing blood. I screamed for help thinking something horrible was happening and they ran back in put me on the table and looked and said my cervix was still closed and they couldn’t explain where all the blood came from. I mean it was A LOT of blood. I refused cervix checks after that until I was in labor.
