Thanks for the money

My boyfriend and I were standing around talking to this one guy we both know. Just chatting, having a normal conversation. I can’t remember when it came up, but this guy just straight up calls me ugly and unattractive TO MY FACE and in front of my boyfriend. My boyfriend looks at him in sheer anger and hate, and I have to stand there holding him back so he doesn’t lunge on the guy and get in a fist fight. The guy walks away, and my boyfriend assured me he’s a huge fucking dick, and to not listen to him. Day goes on, and I see the guy a little while later. He tries to talk to me like nothing had happened, and I’m standing there bitter and giving little to no effort, he finally asks “what’s wrong with you?” I scoffed and said “you called me ugly and unattractive in-front of my boyfriend. How do you think I am?!” So this guy seriously apologizes, AND HANDS ME A $20 BILL saying, “here, does this make up for it?” I say, “no, but thanks for the $20” and just walked away. I got my coffee from my favorite stand.

Only reason I bring this up, is because he tried messaging me yesterday asking how I was doing. Sorry, not going to entertain an asshole like you.
