Pumping questions

So when my daughter was first born I was able to formula and bf until she turned 3 months. I guess she realized breastmilk was better lol she was breastfed until 2-1/2 Years old.

Second baby I only breastfed until he was 2-1/2 years old

This baby I thought I wanted to formula feed as I feel so tired and i know breastfeeding is so difficult and in a sense enslaving. I usually get a lot of milk. Is pumping as great as an option ?

I looked up formula ingredients and was mortified & changed my mind . So I just want to know. Is it just as draining/tiring to pump?

I’m due in about 3 weeks so I just want some insight / opinions.
