Rock and play question
With my daughter we had a rock and play we occasionally used for naps, or just as a place to set her down. We never used it at night. Both sets of grandparents also had one for when they babysat. Since the recall, we’ve gotten rid of all three.
My question is, if they’re dangerous because of the reclined position the baby is in can cause positional asphyxiation, then how are all these other products on the market still safe? Car seats, swings, baby bouncers, etc all still place the baby in a reclined position, right? How are these still considered safe for their airway? Am I misunderstanding something? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
