Rock n’ Play????

Who plans on still using their Rock n’ Play despite the recent recall?

Due in 8 days and still on the fence about it. I haven’t found anything that comes close to replacing it. Loved how easy it was to move from one room to the other.

I’m planning on using it but not for sleep/nap.  Mainly for a place to set baby when we are at a friends house, outside, in the shower, etc. I have two other children and a small house so I still like the size, stability, and portability of the rock and play.  I will say that I will definitely be extra cautious with the supervision.  I’m comfortable using it but I know everyone has an opinion and I’m prepared to be feel judged🤷‍♀️.

I still use it, with supervision of course. It’s perfect to set her in the bathroom with me if I need to shower, get ready etc. or sit her next to us while we eat dinner. It is more portable than most swings so it’s nice to have when you need to just put them down but they still want to be with you/see you.

You do what works best for you. Everything can be dangerous!! Not just rock and plays. (Bouncers,swings,co sleeping, rock and plays, cribs, baby layin on back, stomach sleeping or on side) anything can happen. I used the rock and play and my son was fine thank goodness. Accidents happen but you just have to do what's best and what's comfortable for you and baby. My husband's baby brother passed away from co sleeping things happen it's horrible. My husband wouldn't let my son sleep with us until he was 1! He's almost 2 now and sleeps with us.

Nope. We are switching with to the Mamaroo and RockARoo by 4Moms.

We have ours set up. My son used it and was fine (I know, we were lucky)  I sit her in it literally while I get positioned to breastfeed or pee really fast because it is so mobile. Shes always within arms reach and watched in it. That's how we used it for my son, too 🤷‍♀️ if she's asleep nor going to be put down for any length of time we put her in the pack n play instead.
