Concerts and pregnant??

Question

Has anyone ever went to a music festival while pregnant? My fiancé and I are planning on going to Louder Than Life in September. I’ll be 6 months pregnant then. I think it’s doable but would like opinions. FTM so don’t be too hard on me🙄
UPDATE: my fiancé and I have decided it will be best of I sit this one out considering it’s a heavy metal type of festival. We aren’t even the most afraid for me and baby but more on the lines of if someone were to accidentally bump into me I know my fiancé and his friends would be in an unnecessary fight. Thanks for all the tips and insight though!!

I'll be going to the Dead South concert in October (7 months) and both doctor and midwife said its TOTALLY fine to go. I'm not a fan of crowds so I'll avoid the area directly in front of the stage *as it's all standing room* and this venue is indoors so no smoking allowed. So that eliminates that risk. As for the sounds for the baby, it's fine! Doc said they encourage you to enjoy life as long as possible (concerts included) so get out there and have fun! Stay hydrated, take rest breaks, and enjoy yourself!

I’m by no means telling you what to do but I can only say what I would do and hope you find it useful.
At 6 months I’m pretty sure baby can hear well and responds to external stimuli such as sound and vibration and babies in the womb even jump when they get a scare. I would be worried about the noise from the festival and continuous vibration from the music and how that would likely scare baby. At the very least it would bath baby in serious vibrations from the music for hours on end.
Also there are usually a lot of people smoking around which would bring a higher risk of secondary smoking as you can’t really get away from it unless they have a smoke free area.
I would never bring a newborn baby to a festival, and so in my mind it wouldn’t make sense to bring a baby in my belly.
Im by no means judging anyone who would go. Each to their own. But I wouldn’t.

I attended two concerts when I was pregnant with my son. 
The first was at 7 months, it was a seated concert so I purposely booked the wheelchair access seats and had plenty of room to move around and didn’t have to worry too much about people bumping into me.
The second was at 8 months, this was a more festival type of concert. I was HUGE so people around me seemed aware that they shouldn’t bump into me but I also brought a blanket with me so I could sit down when I was tired. My friends were great body guards from the unstable drunk people and deflected any possible bumps. The toilet attendants were also quite nice and let me into the shorter wheelchair accessible toilet queue which was a blessing. 
I would recommended checking with the venue to see if you could access the wheelchair accessible area as it’s very safe from anyone bumping into you and much shorter lines for the bathroom. 
But all in all I’d say don’t let pregnancy stop you. I haven’t been to a concert since and my son will be 2 in Aug so go while you can 🙂 and have lots of fun.

I went to 6 concerts while pregnant with my first and have 4 on the schedule for this year throughout my pregnancy. The most important factors are being in a safe area where you are not likely to be shoved or pushed up against baracades, etc. hope this helps!

I'm due to go to a festival (Kendall Calling in the UK) at the end of July when I'll be 16 weeks and have no intention of missing out. I've been to loads before so know what to expect and have planned accordingly.
My friends all know I'll have to take it easy and I'm making sure I have a nice comfortable place to retreat to (ie my tent with pillows and comfortable mattress) if it all gets too much. Hubster and I can always leave if it gets too bad as we're taking our own car rather than sharing a ride.
I'm told the ears and hearing have developed at that stage however I never stand too close to speakers and always try and find a calm spot in the crowd.

I went to a concert when I was pregnant with my last baby. I was about 3 or 4 months pregnant. I’m going to two concerts this year. I’ll be 3 or 4 months pregnant the first concert and about 6 or 7 months the second concert.

I was supposed to go to a music festival on June 7th-9th (ever after music fest) I bought the tickets and everything. I found out I was pregnant a month before and didn't go. It wouldn't be the same if I went while I was pregnant so I'm just putting it off till next year or the year after.
