Is this a form of cheating?

So, there’s this guy that goes to my church.. He’s like in his late 20’s and I’m in my early 20’s. I’ve always looked to him as a friend and nothing more. So the other day I was ranting on my Instagram story saying “I’ve been annoyed lately and how things have been irritating me more lately.” Then he messaged me in my Instagram DM saying something similar too “I can make that all better if I was with you.” I just thought he was playing because he plays a lot. So I messaged him back with the laughing emoji. Then he messaged me again asking how I was doing and what I’ve been up to. So I said “I’ve been good I just been working and going to school.” I thought it was just going to stop there so he kept messaging me asking “Did I move in with my sister about the job.” At this point I was lost because I don’t remember saying that at all plus i don’t even talk to my step sisters like that. So idk why he even asked that and where that even came from. Plus we barely talk at all. So I was like no. Then he messaged me back saying “Good, so that means when I am able to see you.” At that pint I didn’t even messaged him back and I stop talking him all together.

I do have a boyfriend and I feel so guilty engaging in the conversation.. I feel like I should tell him because I feel so guilty. Or maybe I’m just overthinking it and just leave it alone.
