Just some advice please.

I’ve been in hospital this weekend with optical cellulitis, I’ve been put on antibiotics and I know they knock out your pill. My question is, do I carry on taking it as normal and use condoms as protection? And does is knock your pill out from the moment you take them? I had sex on the Friday started these Saturday through a drip and Sunday tablet form. Am I covered for the Friday?
