What does the cramping feel like?

I really should know these things by now pregnant with my 6th baby. But I can't remember having cramps like I am with this one I'm coming up 6weeks on Monday. They are just on one side of my pelvis not at the front or anything just the need to pee often. It feels like period pain but it's causing me to feel stressed and not want to move. So any advice of people's experience would be appreciated.
