Hi all! My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 months and have yet to say "I love you," where as in previous relationships it's been said in the first month. It just got me wondering, how long into your relationship did you and your significant other finally say "I love you"? How long is too long to wait? or is there not a too long to wait? 🤔

You don’t have to rush it. I think it’s important to say when you both are ready. 
My boyfriend and I have been together over a year. I think we were maybe 2 months in. I am honestly not sure. 
Anyway, He said it first. It really caught me off guard and I didn’t say it back right away. He fell for me really quickly but I was struggling with some issues and insecurities. (A very horrible past relationship) I was so overwhelmed with the fact he loved me that I couldn’t express my feelings. However because he is so amazing he was patient with me. 
Just give yourself time and say it when you are ready. If one day you just saying without realizing it then do not feel bad or embarrassed. You said it in the moment you were feeling loved. My boyfriend always says he never planned on saying those words that night... he was just so happy they just came out! 
If you do say it first,  give him time to feel what he is feeling. 
If he says it first, don’t feel like you have to say it back immediately.

ours was after a month. we are married now (after 3 years). I think comparing it to past relationships isn't going to help any. You said it in a month in those and they didnt work out. So don't rush it. If you feel it, say it. When he feels it, he'll say it. Each relationship is different so they wont all be on the same time table. :)
