After 2 and a half years, it finally happened. A positive pregnancy test! But after going to my first prenatal appointment (at 5w2d) my doctor said she could see my gestational sac but it was empty and the was no fetus. She said it could either be too soon, or the pregnancy won’t progress and all I can do is think the worst. Has anyone else had an “empty sac” on early transvaginal ultrasound and continued to a normal pregnancy?
