So this guy and I met on Tinder back in December, we went on our first coffee date back in January and we started to go on more dates and hanging out a lot, it was great. After a couple dates I had asked him what he was looking for on Tinder and he said to just start off as friends and go from there which is what I was looking for as well. Things were amazing, we hung out all the time, he was a genuinely nice guy, he always texted me good morning, asked how my day was going, and was just super sweet. Around early April he stopped texted me and wanting to hang out as often, I only got to see him once every couple weeks or once a week until he went on holidays to Vegas for 9 days, once he got back I kept asking him to hang out but he never wanted to. After not texting him for a couple days I finally sent him a text asking where things were going between us because it really felt like we were drifting apart and it seemed like things should be moving forward towards a relationship and this was his reply. I was so devastated when he said that, but I agreed to still be friends with him. We chatted every now and then, until Saturday when I woke up I opened Facebook and I seen on there that he was in a relationship with someone. Him and I had said we were exclusive to one another in early March, but by the sounds of if they met in April and that’s when he started to get really distant from me. I just feel so heartbroken after being strung along by him for almost 4 months and then he dates someone else.

I got strung along by a guy back in 2013/2014 for a year and then he dated someone else. It’s really hard to not take that all personally, I am so heartbroken right now it really pains me to even think about it, I really thought we had something special but he didn’t feel that way about me at all obviously. 😔😔😔
