How do you know

If you have an ulcer?, My mother had one and idk if it can be genetic* but I'm afraid I may have something similar

*Reworded sorry for confusion I guess, but what does kissing your mom have to do with a stomach ulcer?

I'm just wondering if there's a possibility of myself having a stomach ulcer (I don't know how my mom got one) but I seem to be experiencing things that I've seen my mother go through while having an ulcer and wondering if it is the same problem..
