Was going to leave the house... then this happened. Another day stuck in the house with all the snuggles 😆 When is the last time y’all made dinner? My poor husband... getting to the grocery store with toddler and 6 week old literally seems impossible.

Haha currently trapped the same way. I get out every morning to take my toddler to daycare. When we get home it’s a guessing game, this morning I did dishes and started laundry before he ate and fell asleep on me. He’s been here for 3 hours now, I haven’t eaten since early this morning, I didn’t get a walk in, and there’s more laundry to do. Totally ok with that, I know too well these cuddles end way too soon.

Yup. We have been living off fast food/restaurants for the last 2 weeks. I can’t find the energy to cook or grocery shop. The first few weeks wasn’t too bad and I was able to cook, but now she’s being so needy and my son too, I just don’t have the time/energy 😩😩 
I remember when my son was about 10-12 weeks, things seemed to have gotten easier, so we shall see.

Grocery delivery!! I been doing crock pot chicken in batches and steamed veggies. If my husband or toddler need some carbs, microwave uncle bens rice or pasta as a side. It’s been a lifesaver! Lunch is all deli meat and leftover veggies. Hard boiled eggs in batches for breakfast. 10 minutes of cooking = days of food.

I cooked philly cheese steak sandwiches yesterday and I have grocery shopped twice now with a 2 year old and a 6 week old. Just know that it was very stressful and I may have forgotten to scan my soda that was at the bottom of the cart lol. 
Don’t worry, I’m sure your husband doesn’t mind at all. It’s definitely an adjustment going from 1 to 2.

I swear the only reason I wake up to take my son to school (as hard as it is) is because I can’t get much done with my snuggle bunny. I gave up on cooking. Lol

I have days like that too where I’m ambitious to get out and go do something even if it’s a walk.. then snuggles happen and I don’t want to move because I never want them to end ! I barely get breakfast in and sometimes don’t get to eat lunch with her. But it’s all worth it as long as she’s fed and happy. Hubby gets home and he takes over and I get to cook because I love it. Today is our first big grocery shopping we need to do- she’s almost 7 weeks. Wish us luck.... thinking wearing her will be the best option and hopefully she stays calm the whole time !

I felt like my son was glued to me. I only ate breakfast because he was sleeping. Then around lunch time all I could do was dream of the food I'll  eat once he's  sleep. Which never happened who takes two minutes naps at 6weeks old? My older kids are a BIG help. Dinner is whateva is left in the deep freezer. I actually  over stocked my house before I delivered my son.

I assembled a lasagna yesterday courtesy of Costco. Downside I didn’t get a shower :/ baby didn’t go to sleep till midnight.

We use Walmart grocery pick up. I haven’t left the house since coming from the hospital but I cooked plenty of time because my 18 month old is picky and hubby doesn’t know what to make for her except eggs 😂😂I cook 3 times a week but I cook easy stuff that can be thrown in the oven and my husband helps with cutting veggies and stuff. I had C-section so I can’t bend over. Sometimes we use take out as well.

Girl same!! I have an 11 year old, 3 yr old and 7 week old! Although my oldest helps a lot, just the very THOUGHT of taking my kids to the grocery store gives me so much anxiety!! 😂 my poor fiancé 😂 I always say I’m going then I push it back another day and frozen pizza or Kraft Mac and cheese it is! But the baby snuggles are so worth it 🥰🤷‍♀️
