Weird bedroom stuff lol

So I told my bf that I wanted to try something new that we haven't tried and that's using candle wax in the bedroom (y'all know what I mean lol) and he said no that it makes me weird that im into that (I've done it before and like it) and when he said I was weird for liking that it kinda got to me bc Its just something I like and he really didn't need to call me weird.. Has any of you other ladies had your man call a fantasy or fetish of yours weird? How did you go about talking about it?
