Skipping Period on Birth Control

Hey ladies,

So I was looking it up online and I heard that if you skip your inactive pills at the end of the month you won’t get a period. I got my period this month because I’ve been sadly taking them lmao I just found out that if you skip them you won’t get a period. So I was wondering for those of you that skip the last week worth of pills that don’t contain hormones, if I were to finish off this pill pack (June), and for the month of July begin my new pill pack and skip the last week worth of placebo pills, would I get my period for July? Or would have I needed to skip June’s placebo pills in order to get the process started? I normally get it around the end of the month. I just don’t want to get it because I’m going on vacation! 😭 Thanks in advance!
