Husbands parents dog aggressive to our dog! Advice please! 😩

So my husbands parents have a 1 year old male dog who is aggressive towards our dog. Every time we have brought our pup to their home, their dog attacks him. This time he got him right on the snout and made him bleed. I already told my husband I didn’t want my dog over there anymore but my husband insisted on bringing him. My husbands parents aren’t disciplining their dog when he growls and bites. They told my husband not to smack their dog on the nose when he growls and nips at our dog because he’s a “show dog” and can’t risk getting his face ruined. I told my husband that our pup isn’t going to be around theirs anymore and he needs to tell them that ASAP. He still hasn’t told them and I’m very upset about this whole thing. It happened on Sunday and his parents haven’t apologized all. The only thing they’ve said was put some Neosporin on it. Am I overreacting? I don’t even want to be around his parents anymore if they’re going to be dicks and treat my fur baby like this. 😩
