Baby daddy issues

So this is a bit of a long story. I got pregnant at 20 to a guy I had not long met who was 39. When I told him I was pregnant he became really nasty saying I should get an abortion and that it wasn’t his despite the fact that I hadn’t slept with anyone else. Throughout my whole pregnancy he told me that he didn’t want to tell his family about this baby and so I told him that my baby has a right to know about her other siblings from him if he wants to be around. In the last few weeks of my pregnancy he messaged me saying that he couldn’t handle having another child and didn’t want anything to do with her except he wanted to know when she was born, wanted to know any big things that happen in her life and wanted to meet her just once. So I messaged him a few weeks before coming down to his city letting him know I was coming and he said we could meet but when I messaged him again today because we were coming down in a few days to see if we were still on he was now cancelled saying he is working one day and then with friends the next day so can’t meet up. But said he still wants to meet her. Do I bother giving him another chance and driving 2 and a half hours to him?
