Giving birth in an apartment?

Question

My boyfriend keeps saying that he doesn’t know whether or not it’s allowed to give birth in an apartment??? I’m like it’s not anyone’s business and how would they know? 
I don’t think there’s any rules about giving birth in an apartment is there? 
I want to have a home birth but obviously we will be living in an apartment when the baby is due.

My 4th we tried a home birth 
I live in 12th floor of an apartment building
We just went and talked to neighbours that we were having a home birth and they were all very excited 
We posted sign outside door

We live in an apartment and are having a home birth. I don’t see any issue with it as long as the apartment isn’t damaged.

I just read something about this . I think it’s perfectly fine . And I think the girl who did it went to everyone on her floor and gave them ear buds as a gift and let them know what the loud noises were for .

Yes but keep in mind that you’ll have to search for a good midwife and such

If you have a midwife comfortable with it/a bathtub that’s comfy for you, and a healthy non complicated pregnancy I say go for it!!

I don’t think so. There might be a problem with you filling up a birthing pool in your living room  if that’s what you want though. 🤔 But I suppose what they don’t know won’t hurt them. 😂 
Does your apartment have an elevator though? Id be a little worried about if you had to get to the hospital should things not go as planned and being able to make an easy exit. 
I’m sure your doula/midwife will come to your apartment prior to then and they’ll address any concerns. 🙂
