When did your water break ?

How far along were you when your water broke & how did it happen ? 
With my first I started having contractions in the middle of the night and my water never broke. Trying to mentally prepare myself just in case.

Mine never broke with all four of mine. Even at 10 cm but thank god for that because my last baby was born in 53 mins. They induced me by breaking my water, & boom!! No need to start the pitocin 😂

i was 38 Weeks & 4 Days. i went to the hospital w contractions being 2-3 mins apart. I got monitored , got my cervix checked & was 3 cm. Nurse said she was gonnah have me walk around to see if i dialated more, if not i'd get sent home. as soon as she left the room to get some things ready, my son was like " Hella na you ain't leaving the hospital with out me " & i felt like i was about to fart & then i felt a strong pop & there was water all over the bed. lol The nurse came in & i told her & she was like " It's probanly the gel i used to check your cervix " & she checked & it was my water. From then my contraction got so bad lol

I was 39w4d when my water broke with my first. 
I had been having Braxton Hicks contractions all day. And then they stopped suddenly so that night me and my husband had sex and about 30min later I was laying down about to go to bed and felt a pop and started leaking. It was never a huge gush so I wasn’t 100% sure my water broke. But then once I got the hospital to be checked I got my bloody show. Still slowly leaking fluid. Doc confirmed my water broke. I wasn’t dilated at all or having contractions. They gave me ciotec to bring on contractions and that afternoon at 39w5d my son was born.

I was in labor at the hospital I was 39weeks 4 days and at 9cm they said it never broke so they had to break it for me and 10 minutes later I was 10 cm and 15 after that my son was born

90%of women’s water don’t break until active labor! 40+4 with my first had it broken while I was pushing. At 39+4 it broke in early labor with my second 5 am.

38wks exactly..I woke up at 3 am to my stomach hurting. Like I ate something terrible. Got up went pee and laid back down. Closed my eyes and I swear I hear a pop and it was like the stuff you see in the movies. I stood up and BOOM water everywhere. And it never stopped which I thought was insane. Like how much can be in there?!!!  I definitely did not enjoy the persistent leak lol.

40+4 - I woke up just before midnight with mild contractions, they were close but not close enough, waters broke at 3am at home and we headed to the hospital by 3:30am.
