Shingles

I work in an emergency room, I was just exposed to shingles via an infected patient. I never had the chicken pox as a kid and so my chances of contracting the virus from that patient are high since it’s a highly contagious illness. I’ve read that since I never had chicken pox that I would contract the virus as chicken pox & not shingles. Chicken pox during pregnancy is dangerous. Should I call my doctor to let her know.. there’s not much she can do/say unless I get the virus so I’m just not sure what to do. Wait around?
