Bad UTI

Hey Ladies, apologies if this is TMI, but I have a question. Has anyone learned that they had a UTI even though leading up to it, they didn’t have any noticeable symptoms? I went to use the restroom yesterday and learned that there was blood in my urine. We went to the hospital and had everything checked - baby was fine, which is a huge relief. But, they weren’t sure exactly what was going on because I wasn’t experiencing any of the classic UTI symptoms. I don’t have kidney stone symptoms either, so they think that’s not likely. They ran some tests and I’m still waiting to hear if it’s actually a UTI or what kind of infection it may be. I’m taking an antibiotic regardless, just in case. So, hopefully that will resolve the issue anyway. But, I just think it’s really strange that things got so bad without any noticeable symptoms leading up to it. I know UTI’s are really common during pregnancy, but I can’t help but wonder if anyone else has experienced something like this.
