ok so i’m 16 and i’ve never used a tampon because when i try to put it in it just won’t go any further?? and when i try to masturbate i usually just rub my clit but i just so uncomfortable and turned off when i try fingering myself? like what does that mean.😕

Honestly I felt the same way until I had sex for the first couple times, If you’re not comfortable with it then just do it the same way you have been! And have you tried angling the tampon different ways when trying to insert? It may help?

When I first started my period I was having so much trouble with tampons I couldnt figure out why. Later I saw like an educational video with a doctor lady and a rubber vagina. She inserted the plastic part of the cartridge into it all the way up to the part at the end where you hold it with your fingers and then she pushed the stick part of the cartridge in. Before when I tried I just held the tip of the cartridge to my vaginas entrance and then try to push the stick and it always hurt because the cotton was dry. (Well no duh you dont want a soggy tanpon to begin with) 
I hope my learning experience helps! And if you still can't do it dont worry. Pads are just fine and if you (like me) feel like you're wearing a diaper then maybe look into alternatives like thinx underwear, Its underwear designed to absorb your period so you dont have to use either.

I’m 38 and could count the number of times I’ve used a tampon on my hands. Tampons aren’t for everyone. The few times I have used one I’ve found putting one foot up on the edge of the tub helps with placement. 
I’m also not a fan of fingering myself. I like it when a guy does it and I’ll use toys sometimes when I masturbate but usually I just rub my clit to get off. It’s really about what you find pleasurable.

Also in between period your cervix can move up and down in your vagana that's be nothing to worry about it's normal it goes lower when you are closer to you period and higher when you get close to ovulation

Many women prefer clitorial stimulation over vaginal stimulation. It’s quite normal, and I’m the same. There are plenty of ways to play with a clit so I’m not concerned in the slightest :)
The user before me is right about the tampons, the vagina isn’t straight up and down, it actually tilts a little towards your tailbone. Often if you tilt it a little it’ll go in (and you should be able to have it go in all the way and only have the string hang out).
Sometimes, putting one foot on a toilet or raised surface can help you get in better position to insert.
