For Mamas who nursed for one year, when did you wean?

I'm curious how you weaned! I would like to cut my three pump sessions eventually and keep the morning and night nursing. Not sure how impossible that will be! I work FT so getting that time back during the day would be great but the bonding is nice in the AM/PM 🥰
What experiences did you have? TIA!

At a year, I worked on cutting off the daytime nursing during my work hours so I could stop pumping at work. Since I did that, we’re down to nursing 3 times a day (first thing in the morning, when I get off work, and right before bed) and I haven’t pumped at work for 3 weeks now and haven’t had any issues. I plan on letting her continue as long as she wants to.

I dropped pumping before I started dropping nursing sessions a couple months before he turned 1 because I had a huge stash. I had only pumped 2 times a day at work, so I went to one, and then none. Then I just dropped nursing sessions during the day before he turned 1. The bedtime session was the hardest to be honest. I just told him they were broken and he had to use a big boy sippy cup with milk. By 15 months he was fully weaned.
