I'm 16, my boyfriend is 17, and about a week ago, I lost my virginity to him. We both knew we were ready, and I consented to it... We do believe we really do love each other and he said it wasn't just something we did "for fun", he said he wanted to do it because he really loves me and wanted to demonstrate it in a more profound way, I guess. And I agreed, so I wasn't pressured or forced at all because he said that. But do you think was 16 too young?

I dont think its too young but what matters is if you're ready for it or not and comfortable enough.

First of all anyone who says that want to have sex to “show you how much they love you” is lying. You can display infinite love for someone without having sex. He obviously just wanted sex. But anyways asking as you both feel ready it’s okay. There is no “right” age.
