Am I tripping or impatient??

My ob apt was last Tuesday and everything went well baby was sleeping so no movement but heart rate was 165 no worries BC baby moves all the time now. (I'm 13 weeks and feel baby move) So the nurse ask me would I like to know baby sex through blood work or in 16 weeks I quickly said through blood work since it only takes 5-7 days to come back well its now day 8 and no word, call email or anything. Am I tripping or impatient?? This is my 5th baby and 1st baby to find out the sex this early so if I'm impatient that's why love you guys. ❤❤❤❤❤

Update: I did call and was told when I come in I'll find out my baby gender. Until then the wait game continues.... Team girl (praying)
