My 8 month old cries all day every day

I don’t know what to do anymore. I have an 8 month old son. he cries all day every day. If he’s not crying, he’s doing the little whiny almost cry. It’s all day. Every day. I try to give him new toys, I try to move him around, I take him in different rooms, I talk to him, I try to help him stand up and walk and crawl and all he does is whine all day. Im going crazy. The only time it stops is when he’s asleep. whenever he sees his aunt and his grandma he gets so happy and jumpy and the second they leave he’s crying again. I can’t take it. I’m going insane.
