Belly button stump fell out last night at around 3am I spoke with an after hours nurse and she said to just keep it clean with a little first aid ointment. It does not smell, it's not bleeding or oozing anything and she is 16 days today is this normal?

My daughters looked like this when it fell off and I just folded the diaper like normally and then I let it dry out. No baths or water yet. Sponge bath is ok. It ended up scabbing and drying out.
