Did pierced nipples interfere with your ability to breastfeed?

I took mine out before I got pregnant but I’m worried that the scaring will mess with the milk ducts.

I took mine out 10 years ago and haven't had any problems.

I had just gotten mine pierced 8 months before I got pregnant and took them out because it got painful as my boobs grew with the pregnancy. Never had any problems breastfeeding. I did have a very strong letdown but that’s probably unrelated. I nursed my daughter for 2.8yrs, never had any kind of problems, no infections, nothing.

Not at all, the only thing that’s annoying is having to remember to wash and put my jewelry back in. My left does let down a little slower than my right, and the milk comes out of my piercing holes on that side, but other than that everything is super duper. I got lucky and have a great supply too. I’m getting about 6oz each boob when I pump, and I’m only 2 weeks pp.

Oops, I hit yes when I meant no but its actually kind of both. I've had both done, one of them was done twice. I still breastfeed fine but notice my let down is a little slower on the side that was done twice, I'm assuming because of more scar tissue? It just meant baby would tire faster on that side having to work harder to draw the milk out but once her sucking & latch were stronger it was an issue, we both just needed to adjust.

They haven’t affected my baby’s latch or anything. I do have a low supply but i think it’s unrelated. You can successfully breastfeed after having them pierced!
