Should I be concerned?

Eryn

About four days ago I got the implant Nexplanon in my arm. Immediately I started bruising and after the numbing shot wore off I started having pain. I understand I can have a little bit of pain but to me I am having more than normal amount of pain.

If I am laying on my back on the bed and I let my arm on the bed in an L where my hand is in the air I have pain in my arm. I have to put a pillow under my arm for it not to hurt. Also if I put pressure on my hand/arm I feel pain in my arm where the implant was put in.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is it normal for my arm to be extremely sensitive? If so how long will it be like this?
